Build Plan

We have build our proof of concept truck using a 1962 Kenworth. Carl has a 3306 CAT diesel generator charging a battery bank, running a frame mounted electric drive motor into a traditional set of 46,000 rear ends. This was done to prove we can build a diesel-electric truck that works

With lessons learnt from the proof of concept we are currently building the production version of the truck. This is the truck design that will be sold to our customers.

Construction is now underway on this step.

Once all the kinks are ironed out and production prototype is hard tested, we plan to offer a complete parts package to retrofit any class 6-8 truck - We will try to make it more economic to recycle trucks then buy new.

This will allow Edison Motors to manufacture using the rebuilt truck Vin numbers and start producing while we get permission to issue our own vin numbers for L series trucks

Once we receive permission to issue our own vin numbers Edison will begin manufacturing our own trucks in addition to continuing with retrofit kits
